Become a Host Home Provider

Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Would you be like to open your home and heart to someone in need? Community Link,Inc. is looking for Host Home Providers to care for clients with high needs. Our Host Home Providers not only provide daily services for our clients, they help them to become active members in the community. By allowing a person with developmental or intellectual disabilities to become a part of your family, you give them the tools they need to live their lives to the fullest.

 

We are seeking people with patience and loving hearts that would like to make a positive impact in someone’s life. We take our time to place clients with the best provider based on both of their needs. Training and respite services are also available.

Host home settings are offered for individuals that require verbal and/or physical assistance with their daily needs. Clients reside in the family home of the provider to ensure that their needs are being met daily. Becoming a Host Home Provider (HHP) will give you an opportunity to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and become a friend, teacher, and role model to them.

 HHPs will assist with:

  • Personal Care

  • Meal Planning and Preparation

  • Medical Appointments

  • Shopping

  • Community Activities

Host Home Providers offer a safe and loving environment while caring for client’s health and safety. We try our best to match clients and host home providers based on their needs and areas of specialty. Community Link takes pride in advocating for our providers and their clients.We are looking for people who are:

  • Caring

  • Honest

  • Patient

  • Have great listening and communication skills

 

Community Link closely monitors our Host Homes to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.We are in need of people and homes with:

  • Skills and/or training for those with medical needs (i.e. CNAs, LPNs, RNs, etc.)

  • Skills and/or training for those with behavioral needs

  • Wheelchair accessibility
